An excellent affiliate network to join and ultimately add into your arsenal of partners. We joined CoProsper and shortly after received a phone call from in regards to our partnership, how we were going to promote their ad campaigns and how they could be of assistance to us. It was great to hear from the network itself (very professional) but we obviously don’t want to hear from every affiliate partner we join up with (that would add up to a lot of phone calls).

After joining and assuring our account was setup accurately we began to sift through their offers to see how we could implement them into our sites (Rapid Arcadia, InterfuseIT, Aladdin’s Arcade, ect.).  We quickly found a number of ads we could begin running on our site. The next step was to figure out the best way to implement their ads; here’s where things fell a little short.

CoProsper offers a banner rotator on their site but for the life of me, after fussing and fiddling with their program for what seemed like an eternity, I gave up. The idea itself is great but what is offered fell short. What we would like to see more then anything is a semi-intelligent rotator. Something that maybe keeps up with changes; maybe rotates an entire category of ads at a specific ad size unit. The rotator that is offered there is capable of doing this however expect a long setup time! To be honest, the general webmaster doesn’t have all day and needs to spend as much time as possible developing and marketing their projects.

The fact is that most affiliate networks fall short in this area, intelligent banner rotators will be a wave of the future; something that keeps everyone’s sites up to date, showing the highest converting ads, and keeping things constantly fresh.

All-in-all, minus the banner rotator shortfall, CoProsper is an excellent affiliate network to join!
